Trade Settlement (ANZ)

Important Information about CommSec Trades using the ANZ V2 Plus Account

You can place orders worth up to $5,000 for Leading Stocks and up to $1,000 for Non Leading Stocks without any deposit. These limits apply to the total amount of Outstanding Buy Orders or Unsettled Buy Transactions on your Account. Trades up to these values will be processed automatically by CommSec and will be settled from the proceeds in your ANZ V2 Plus Account. There is no need to transfer funds to CommSec to settle trades within these limits.

Clients who wish to place orders above $5,000 for Leading Stocks and above $1,000 for Non Leading Stocks, must either:

i. Have Stock registered with CommSec for the excess

For example if you wish to place an order for $40,000 for a Leading Stock you will need to have Stock already registered with CommSec valued at $35,000 (eg $40,000 less $5,000).

For example if you wish to place an order for $9,000 for a Non Leading Stock you will need to have Stock already registered with CommSec valued at $8,000 (eg $9,000 less $1,000).

ii. Transfer Funds via BPAY

Clients who wish to place an order above $5,000 for a Leading Stock and above $1,000 for a Non Leading Stock, who do not have Stock registered with CommSec, will need to Bpay funds to CommSec before trades will be accepted.

BPAY Biller Code: 35428
Reference: You must contact CommSec on 13 15 19 for this Number. The Reference Number will also be provided on your contract note once you commence trading.

What is a Leading Stock and Non Leading Stock

A list of Leading Stocks is available from the "Leading Stocks" Link on the Yellow Help Pane, shown on the BUY Order Page, when you have logged into your CommSec Account. If the Stock you are contemplating purchasing is not on the "Leading Stocks" List, the Stock is considered to be a "Non Leading Stock".
